Absolutely wonderful experience. This year I began working a tighter schedule and wasn’t able to make time for watching anymore, though I had forgotten my login details and couldn’t cancel my membership. However, Ace (a member of the customer service team) helped me straight away with a same day response and got right onto cancelling my subscription with me. They really deserves a promotion. Thanks so much for your help, Ace.

Crunchyroll is a great app since you can watch almost every single anime in the world, but the only problem is the adds. Sometimes you get 6 adds at the same time, its annoying but you get use to it after a while. If you really don't want adds you should get premium. Another thing is I wanted to watch the last episode of MHA but I couldn't because you had to have premium to watch it, and that kind of annoyed me.

Customer service responded to an issue I was having within 2 hours of me posting saving me from getting unnecessarily billed due to a malfunction making it impossible to cancel subscription when billing period ended

I dont use their site to watch anime due to how much they change and censor it but buying figures and other merchandise has been pretty nice. They have the best prices out of any of the other American stores and their customers service is quick to help with any issues. They are also really friendly and professional.

Great library of anime (five stars here), some of the top anime on new seasons not out yet so have to look for them in other services like Hulu and for me this is getting behind on your promise (minus one star here).
The apps are terrible. Bad enough that I am thinking on switching to other services instead of paying Crunchyroll for a sub, and it is sad to say considering I have been a Crunchyroll user for so many, many years (minus another star here).
It is true that they have a terrible customer service. In this day and age, a terrible thing to have (minus another star here).
Hoping they fix everything and get up to speed (before I take another star away and leave out of disappointment).

The site is very glitchy and trying to cancel requires that you call your credit card to stop payment...
Funimation is much better, I regret trying crunchyroll!

I cannot finish an episode without getting a “oops something went wrong” error multiple times. I also have to constantly refresh the app to finish an episode which is extremely annoying. I used to pay for their service but I recently downgraded to free membership because I was essentially paying for a streaming service that does not work. I went on to their forum on their website and noticed that there were the same issues I was experiencing that was happening since 2018. Two years of unfixed bugs with which what seemed to be no care or concern for their consumers on Crunchyroll’s part. I don’t mind the ads, but every time you refresh the app you are subject to rewatching ads after the app crashes. Definitely not the ideal situation.

So get this. They have a massive catalogue of shows right. Cool... yet almost none of them are dubbed... even the ones you would expect (my hero academia, Boston, even god damn one piece.) Got this so me and my partner could binge watch a few shows but this site is garbage. Don't waste your money here. Like seriously it really is disappointing.

First off I want to say that they have such a wide variety and so much to offer, this would be my favorite and preferred way to watch any anime. However, the functionality of the application is absolutely horrible. It has nothing to do with Internet on the user end. If you were to use the app on any platform other than an actual internet browser on a laptop or your pc, it's pretty much useless. I've had nothing but issues with the app erroring out in the middle of an episode or just trying to start the app itself. It crashes all the time and videos will constantly buffer and freeze. The only place I seem to have the absolute best experience using their services, is on my pc on the actual website. I really wish they would try to improve the app for everyone to utilize on other platforms. I know I can't be the only who doesn't have a laptop and just wants to watch anime in bed from my TV on my playstation. I can't use the app at all. I know it has nothing to do with my internet connection, I'm using a wired ethernet connection, same as my pc. I pay quite a bit for the best internet I can get where I live as well. I also pay for premium on here. I'd like to actually get my moneys worth. Again, fantastic if you're using the website but the application really, really needs some work. I really hope to see future improvements. I really didn't want to have to write a negative review but these things have to be addressed.

I think crunchyrolls UI is awful on everything but the PC and the site has a bug that wont let me buy premium on any account i log into. And ive tried multiple devices

Somehow it’s always down, the desktop website is rly outdated and not very user friendly. The app for iPhones is user friendly and works just fine props for that. But on my xbox i have sooo much problems, the videos won’t play, endless buffering, your Watchlist shouldn’t be too long otherwise u can’t watch animes from your list anymore and its just an enormous hassle. If i pay for watching animes i want to be able to watch them!! It’s rly sad that somehow illegal streaming websites are more reliable and user friendly (besides the billion ads u get) than a paid streaming service. I’m rly disappointed by Crunchyroll :(
Probably going to cancel it if nothings changing, they should read and react to their ratings!!!

Absolute trash, half of the videos I wanted to watch wouldn't load, not to mention iv tried canceling my membership for months and they keep charging me for money I don't have to spend on something so worthless
